ORTHOVISC is indicated in the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics.

  Administered in a series of three injections, ORTHOVISC is comprised of the highest concentrated form of hyaluronic acid on the market today and it does not contain any buffers or preservatives. ORTHOVISC is non-avian and is derived from bacterial cells.
